HOW IT ALL STARTED
Hi, I’m Sarah - founder of Edge Frame & Design.
My journey into framing began at 18, working as a Saturday girl in a local workshop. What started as a part-time job soon turned into a lifelong passion. I fell in love with the process – transforming simple materials into something meaningful, something that preserves a memory or elevates a work of art.
Over the years, I worked my way through every part of the craft, eventually managing the store, but deep down, I knew I wanted something more personal - a business that puts clients and creativity first.
Then in 2020, amidst the challenges of lockdown, I finally took the leap. Edge Frame & Design was born in my Norwich home studio, bringing professional, bespoke framing directly to local customers.

With more than two decades in the industry, Sarah brings both technical skill and genuine care to every frame.
“What I love most about framing is the variety. Every client brings a different story, a different piece, and a fresh challenge. Whether it’s a family heirloom, a modern print, or something completely unexpected, I thrive on finding the perfect way to showcase and protect it. No two projects are the same, and that’s what keeps me inspired every day.”
Sarah works from her garage-based workshop in Poringland, just outside Norwich, but is often out on the road – visiting clients, gathering stories, and making framing personal again.
