How Our Mobile Picture Framing Service Works

Choosing a frame should feel enjoyable, not complicated. Edge Frame & Design’s mobile framing service brings the consultation to your home, so you can look at frame and mount samples alongside the artwork, keepsake or textile you want to display.

Sarah talks through your ideas, helps you explore suitable options and takes the piece back to the workshop once you are happy with the design. When the framing is complete, it is delivered back to you ready to enjoy.

The service is available across Long Stratton, Norwich, Diss and surrounding parts of Norfolk, with home consultations and local delivery included at no extra charge.

How the Mobile Framing Process Works

The process is deliberately simple. You do not need to know which frame, mount or finish you want before getting in touch. That is something Sarah can help you work through.

Why Choose Framing at Home?

Mobile framing is not only about convenience.

Being able to see samples in the room where the finished frame will hang can make choosing much easier. Colours can look very different depending on lighting, wall colour, furniture and the artwork itself.

It can be particularly useful when:

  • the artwork is large or difficult to transport

  • you have a fragile or sentimental item

  • you are framing several pieces at once

  • you want the frame to work with a particular room

  • you would prefer one-to-one guidance

  • you are unsure where to begin with frame choices

Some customers arrive with a very clear idea. Others simply know they want their piece to look right.

Both are good places to start.

Framing for More Than Pictures

The same mobile process can be used for many different kinds of framing.

Sarah regularly works with pieces such as:

  • canvas paintings and prints

  • paper artwork, photographs and posters

  • cross-stitch, embroidery and other textiles

  • medals and memorabilia

  • three-dimensional keepsakes

  • certificates and personal achievements

  • artist and exhibition work

  • delicate or specialist pieces requiring conservation options

If your item does not fall neatly into one of those categories, that does not necessarily mean it cannot be framed.

Some of Sarah’s favourite projects are the unusual ones. The first step is simply to show her what you have and talk about what you would like the finished piece to become.
